Terms of use

This page is a plain-English summary. The full terms apply to every account and booking, and they prevail if anything here differs.

The platform and performers

Luxx Bookings is an advertising and booking platform for independent adult performers across Australia. Performers are independent: they choose which bookings to accept, and for companion and show bookings they set their own rates. Performers are not employees or agents of Luxx Bookings.

Luxx books performances and time with verified adult performers. We don't arrange sex services, and performers set and may withdraw their boundaries at any time.

Adults only

You must be 18 or over to use Luxx Bookings, and everyone present at a booking must be 18 or over. A performer may leave, and the booking ends, if anyone present is under 18.

Your account

Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure and use your account only for yourself. You are responsible for bookings made from your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put anyone at risk.

Bookings and holds

The booking fee is 25% of each performer's hourly rate, capped at $50 per performer-hour, and it is the only part of the price paid through Luxx. It is placed as a card hold and charged once every place in the booking is filled, at the actual rates of the performers who accepted; the rest of the hold is released. If nobody accepts, the hold is released in full. If only some places are filled when the booking starts, it goes ahead with those performers and the fee is charged for them only.

Cash payments

The balance for each performer, their rate less the booking fee plus any travel fee and extension, is paid by the customer directly to the performer in cash on the night. Luxx doesn't process or hold this payment. The amount owing is shown in both apps, and disputes can be raised with the team.

Cancellations

If you cancel before your booking is confirmed, the hold is released in full. Once every place is filled, the booking fee is earned and is not refunded if you cancel; performers are told not to travel and no balance is owed. If a performer withdraws, the booking reopens so you can choose someone else. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Venues and approvals

Licensed venues need the right approvals for topless, nude and stage shows; private homes and private hire don't. Customers are responsible for booking those services only where the venue holds the approvals it needs.

Conduct

Before you book, you confirm what each service includes. You agree to follow the conduct rules, which apply to customers and performers alike. Harassment or coercion ends the booking and can lead to a ban.

Reporting problems

Report a problem with a booking from the booking itself, using Get help, or through the contact page. Performers can report from their job screen. Safety reports are reviewed first.

Our liability

Luxx provides the platform: listings, matching, the booking fee and the safety tools. Performers deliver their services independently. To the extent the law allows, Luxx isn't liable for what happens at an event beyond the platform's own obligations, and our liability is limited to the booking fee you paid. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.

Governing law

Luxx Bookings is based in Queensland, and these terms are governed by the laws of Queensland. That doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the state or territory where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We'll show the date of the latest version, and tell account holders about material changes before they take effect. Using Luxx after a change means you accept the updated terms.
